Fish help me try new things .

I love placing my fish in new situations and locations and letting the surroundings influence the direction of my art.

On a recent trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico, I was so inspired by the rusty orange landscape and turquoise sky.  I couldn't wait to get back to my studio and start incorporating these colors into my work. I did a few paintings, but what was really exciting was adding these earthy colors to my etchings.
